Mission to Ukraine - Emergency Fund

Thank you for your concerns about the security situation in Ukraine. We are so encouraged by the support that the US and Europe demonstrate - and believe this is a very important restraining factor for Mr. Putin. We also believe this is bigger than just Ukraine and are glad to see the commitment of the West to protect our democracy and independence. Our government seems to have no strategy to protect its people. Most of our citizens have no clear plan of action, most bomb shelters are not usable, and our economy is struggling quite a bit.
Mission to Ukraine serves hundreds of children with severe disabilities and women in need on regular basis. In case of the attack our clients in acute poverty will suffer the most, since they will need urgent shelter, food, clothing, and medicine.
Having said all of this …
We have chosen to stay put and minister to those God has entrusted to us. They have nowhere to go. They are truly "defenseless" and in dire need - even at this time. And they need our help.
Please pray with us for God's mighty protection over Ukraine and its people. And may I also humbly ask for your financial support? Now, perhaps more than ever before, they stand in need.
Thank you,
P.S. - from Steve Boles (executive director) … There is a threat that supplies will be scarce in the very near future. Please. Help today. $100, $500, $1000 - whatever you can do will be greatly appreciated by your brothers and sisters in Ukraine who are truly depending on you at this time! Will you help today?
