Mission Trip to Guinea West Africa - Spring 2024

Hey Friends!

My daughter Kimberly and I have the chance to travel on a mission trip together this May! We're headed to Guinea, West Africa for ten days with a team from The Summit Church. Together, with Engage Guinea, we will be partnering with local churches to provide eyeglasses to those in the community.

Kimberly has been wanting to go on a mission trip for several years now and the timing for this trip is perfect. I'm so excited we get to experience it together. I am ready to witness, firsthand, what God is doing in the lives of the people there. I can't wait to see my daughter experience what it's like to love those as Jesus would. I fully expect there to be life change from our time there, and can't wait to share it with all of you after we return.

I would appreciate it if your family would consider supporting us financially. In total, this trip costs around $2,200 per person. Even though we don't leave for this trip until May 23, we have to buy tickets and make preparations now. Would you consider how your family can support us on this trip? Asking for money is not easy. Honestly, we are in a position that we could pay for the trip ourselves. But I was reminded that when we don't include others in what God is doing, we end up denying them an opportunity for growth and the chance to participate in God's plans. That being said, I ask that you see this not as a plea for money, but rather a way that you can be a part of this incredible journey with Kimberly and myself. If you can't support us financially, please consider praying for us in the specific ways listed below while we're in Guinea.

• That the families of all team members are met with peace while we are away.
