Mission trip to House of Healing in Guatemala

Hi! My name is Tiffany and this is my son Jake. We are members of Grace Community Church in a rural town of Texas called Corsicana. I have been a Christain all of my life, yet have never been on a mission trip. This year I would really like to change that. Volunteers from my church will be traveling to San Lucas Toliman Guatemala to help build a house for a deserving family and deliver medical care there as well. As a registered nurse for over 25 years, I would really love to be a part of that. In addition, I would love to be able to take my 15 year old son who, like me, has never been on a mission trip to help be a part of the building team. The cost for us to attend is $1500 per person. That includes the flight and our stay there from January 7th to the 13th. As a single mother I do not have the extra income to put towards this trip and am praying that there are a few giving individuals that might help with the cost. Any amount that I receive would be greatly appreciated and 100% will go towards the flight and room and board. Being able to provide medical care to the Maya people of Guatamala would be truly rewarding for myself, and an eye opener for my son to see those living in desperately poor conditions.
