Mission Work in Seattle

Hi, my name is Yaz Rodriguez, and I am raising funds to do mission work in Seattle, Washington at a mission church called Illume. Central to Illume’s ministry is the belief that spiritual growth and deep faith flourish in intimate, supportive settings where people can worship, learn, and serve as they journey together. To that end, Illume focuses on the cultivation of small groups that provide this fellowship intentionally and consistently. This approach is tailored to the diverse and progressive community of Seattle by offering thoughtful, open spaces for people from all walks of life to explore spirituality in a way that is accessible and relevant to them while being informed by our distinctly Lutheran worldview. Over time, Illume’s vision is to create a network of interconnected small groups throughout the city, each serving as a beacon of certain hope, spiritual growth, and selfless love, following the lead of our savior Jesus. The funds that I hope to raise will be used to cover travel costs, living accommodations, additional essentials, and to support Illume’s ministry.
