Missi Smith Cohn’s Forest at Glacier National Park

Donation protected
My name is Tova Cohn and Missi Smith Cohn is my sister-in-law.  Missi passed away suddenly on May 12, 2021 and in the wake of this loss we have, as her family, been trying to come to grips with the void she left behind as well as figure out how to honor her memory.

She was a truly gorgeous soul—thoughtful and sensitive— and gave of herself far more than she ever expected in return.  In addition to being one of the funniest people I have ever known, she was a lover of nature and outdoor activities, jumping at every opportunity to hike and camp in some of the remotest places.  One of those places was Glacier National Park where Missi and David won a lottery to backwoods camp some years ago.

We’d like to plant 20 trees at Glacier National Park in her honor—to create a living memory that will live on for years while also contributing to an environment she loved exploring.   For every $100 we raise we can plant a single tree and if we manage to raise $2000 for 20 trees we can choose the valley where the trees will be planted next fall.
