Help Kiyara become Miss Colorado!

Hello one and all! My name is Kiyara Garvin and I have a bit of a request of you guys. First... A little about myself : I am currently a senior and an instrumentalist at Metropolitan State University of Denver, completing my Bachelors of the Arts degree in Music with Flute Concentration. I've been playing the flute and performing for about 13 years now and know for a fact that this is what I want to do. To perform for the people on stage, no matter the medium.  As time continued on, I've grown a liking for modeling and began my tutelage at John Casablanca. Graduating with high grades, I became a model under Model and Talent Management of Denver (MTM Denver) and loving it thus far! If I'm not performing, preparing, or practicing, my time is spent playing video games, looking up new music to play, getting my healthy dose of adventure, or dancing like no one is watching! Okay... What is this for?: Now, for the very thing I need your help on! I have been selected to compete in the state pageant for Miss USA! If I win this pageant, I will go on to the national competition, representing Colorado! And with great feats, comes great fees. The registration fee sums to a total of $1000. This does not include expenses such as wardrobe and other preparation expenses. So I need your help! Coming up with enough funds to support this journey will not only put a strain on myself, but with the fall semester around the corner, my funds will be spent on supplies and books on top of preparation expenses. The pageant will be held in Greeley, CO, on October 26th - 27th, 2019 How are these funds going to be used: Rest assured, the donations are going to be used primarily to fund my participation for this pageant. It will ONLY be used for the registration fee. You can donate however amount you see fit, anything will help. Even if it's just passing the word! I appreciate you taking the time to read through! DISCLAIMER: These donations will be used alongside of my own funds. As I raise money in donations, I will be diligently ensuring I am as prepared as possible . Meaning I will be paying out of pocket to prepare for this event. With that said... I want to express how thankful and appreciative I am. This is a huge step in a new direction that I couldn't have fathomed, even a couple months ago. With great friends, family, instructors, and even strangers, one would be as thankful as I to have such awesome people in my life.
