THIS IS GOING TO BE A VERY LONG POST BUT I KNOW A LOT OF PEOPLE WANT TO KNOW.

A lot of you have been asking what happened to Missy so I'll put it all on here. Friday afternoon she went to workout with her new trainer for the first time, they did legs and then she came home pretty exhausted. She sat in her chair and drank some protein shake. Then she all of a sudden nodded off, after a few seconds she raised her head and said "I think I just passed out". A few moments later she got up and said "I've got to puke" and she ran to the bathroom and started throwing up in the toilet. She was being her usual dramatic self, saying how she didn't think she was going to be able to keep doing these workouts. How she wanted to quit. I tried to be encouraging and told her "it's not going to be like every time". I reminded her of all the clients that she put through workouts that did the same thing. Brody was scared and upset, crying. She told him that she was fine, she was just sick from the workout. I had work that night so I took a shower and started to get ready. She had crawled back to her chair but just sat in front of it. I asked why she wasn't sitting in her chair and she said because her legs were too sore. So I helped her up into her chair. I got my shoes on and gave her and Brody kisses before leaving for work. As I walked out the door she asked me if I could call off work to take care of her and I told her I'm sorry but I can't. She asks me to just call off and stay with her all the time so I didn't think anything of it. I told her she was going to be fine and then I left for work. According to Brody, shortly after I left he was worried and was checking on her and she told him she was fine and told him to go play on his computer, he said that she sounded really weird though. I made it work and texted her letting her know. "I made it to work baby I love you". Usually I get back a "Thank you, I love you too." But this time it was a "Thank you have a great night." I thought it was kind of weird but didn't put much into it. I got off work in the morning and went home. Missy was in her chair sleeping. I took my shoes off and walked to the kitchen to take my medicine. I accidently woke her as I walked by. She started asking me how work was like she usually does and I could tell that there was something different with her speech and then looked at her and noticed she had a large knot on the side of her eye. I asked her what happened and she told me she had fallen a few times last night, she said that she just fell in the bathroom trying to weigh her self. She was proud to tell me that she had lost 4 more pounds. She was being kind of animated like she was drunk or high or something. I asked her what was wrong with her. She didn't seem to be aware that anything was wrong. I started asking her if she had taken anything and she said no. She was very alert and responsive, able to answer questions. I began to get worried, it seemed like she had a stroke or maybe had symptoms from hitting her head. I tried calling her mom but couldn't reach her at the time so I called my mom and her come over to watch Brody so I could take Missy to the ER. Missy was unable to stand at all so I couldn't get her to the car. I called 911. We got to the hospital she was still responsive and able to answer all of the doctors questions and able to do most of their test. The ER doctor said he didn't think she had a stroke but it seemed like she may have taken something and had a bad reaction to it but he sent her for an MRI just to be sure. The results came back and he said that it wasn't a stroke but she had clot in a vein on the back of her head and it was causing swelling and they needed to move her to the ICU and they were going to run more test. They gave her medicine to reduce the swelling and put her on a blood thinner. The neurosurgeon came in and said that he thinks she had a stroke but wanted to get another mri showing the arteries in her neck and run some more test to see what was really going on. He said he believed it was caused by staining while working out, pinching the arteries in her neck, causing clots and then they shot off like a shotgun to the arteries in her brain. Shortly after being in the ICU she became unresponsive, she was making noises but couldn't talk, she couldn't open her eyes, her hands were going every where, she pulled her IV out. Things got very bad, very quick. They rushed her to get a CT scan and were going to determine if she was going to need surgery or not. The neurosurgeon told us that the swelling had increased and they would need to do surgery to save her life. They had to put a hole in the back of her head to relieve the pressure and then another in the top of her head for a pressure tube so they could manage the pressure on her head. She's still not doing well and they don't know how recovery is going to go for her but she is alive and I am grateful for that. They planned on taking it easy last night and are going to run some more test today.

Brody was with my dad all day yesterday and didn't know what was going on. He was worried but my dad and nephew did a good job keeping him occupied. Last night we got home and I explained everything to him that happened. Of course he cried and is scared. I let him know that it was ok to be scared, I'm scared too. I explained to him that the scary part is over though. We just have to work on getting mommy better and told him it was going to take some time. He said he's not worried because he knows his mommy is strong.

Yesterday was by far the worst day of my ENTIRE life. I thought I was going to lose my wife, my best friend, mother of my child, a woman that I've spent most of my life with. She's my high school sweet heart and the love of my life. She's the glue that holds our little family together. She does so much for us. Literally all I do is work to make money, she does EVERYTHING thing else. I can't imagine a life without her. I've never been so scared. I've never cried so much in all my life combined. I've been blaming myself a lot. It's really hard not to. I feel like I missed the signs. If I would have stayed home like asked I could have gotten her help a sooner and maybe she wouldn't be in such a bad condition. Brody blamed himself because he didn't know what to do when he thought something was wrong. I let him know none of this is his fault. Missy's trainer reached out and blamed himself for putting her through such a hard work out. It's not his fault either. Missy loves working out and there's nothing you're going to do to stop her. If it was caused by working out it was going to happen no matter what.

I appreciate all of the people who have reached out to check on her. If I haven't responded I'm really sorry. This has been really hard. I appreciate all the people that are praying for her. I know that she can feel it. Please continue to pray for her. If you're the type that doesn't believe in prayer, please send positive vibes her way. She could use all the she can get as she continues to fight.
