Missy Wilcox Mcnabb’s cancer expenses

Hi my name is Kelly Southern. I am helping raise money & awareness for our dear friend Missy Wilcox McNabb. Missy is the wife to Kevin McNabb and together they have two sons Truman & Bennett. Their sons both attend Neville High School. Missy is a well loved Nurse Practitioner at St. Francis. Missy was first diagnosed with an incurable blood disorder/chronic cancer 12 years ago. No one really knew of this because Missy ALWAYS has a smile on her face. You will never see her without her make up done & her jewelry on. She never wanted to be a burden on anyone and only wanted to care for others. As of July 7th at her MD Anderson appointment Missy learned that her condition has worsened and she had to return to MD Anderson today July 11th. She will begin Chemo to stop the current aggressive cancer progression. After her chemo she will then begin her bone marrow/ stem cell transplant journey. This whole process will take 5-6 months and most of her time will be spent at MD Anderson. This is going to be very expensive due to lodging, meals, travel expenses etc. Missy will not be able to work during this time. Missy is an alumni of Neville High School and her heart bleeds black and gold. She loves nothing more than watching her boys play baseball & football. She is the biggest cheerleader & loudest fan! Now its time to be Missy’s cheerleader and support her and her precious family. She has strong Faith in our Lord and Savior and she knows she will win this battle.
