Mister McGinnis Vs. Stage 4 Leukemia

Hello. I'm Serena Connelly, an old friend of Mark's.

We met at Leo Burnett in 1999, and we lived together in a haunted house in the Andersonville neighborhood in Chicago.

As you may have heard, Mark is very ill, with Stage 4 Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (blood and bone marrow cancer). There is no cure. His medical team is hopeful they can get him into remission, but, eventually, it will return. Mark is in a peaceful space with this news, which took him by surprise this Fall.

He does have insurance, but not everything is covered, so he has some medical bills stacking up. We hope you will help us raise the funds to provide him with a safe, comfortable, final stage transition. Mark will be able to access the fund, in an ongoing manner, as expenses arise. The funds will also be used to help cover his rent, Visiting Nurse Services, and other expenses associated with cancer treatment.
