Hey all, my name is Kim Brooks. I am starting this GoFundMe to help Mistie and Todd McGuire with various expenses to help offset medical costs.

Mistie has been battling Stage 4 Colorectal Cancer for over three years now. What started in the colon then moved to the liver, and finally the lungs. Multiple surgeries, Scans every few months, Chemo every 2 weeks, Dr. visits, Travel expenses, Colostomy supplies, Daily medications, AND Heart failure requiring more surgery and a Pacemaker....and the list goes on... their medical bills are literally into the $millions thus far!!

Through it all, Mistie maintains her sunny disposition and outlook, pushing out those positive vibes and that big, beautiful smile on various social media platforms, reaching people all over the world with her messages and inspriations. She does her best to show everyone her courage and strength through humor and hope.

The outpouring of love that was shown to her with the WWMD bracelets really overwhelmed and touched her heart. I'm hoping that same kind of outpouring of love can ease the burden of her medical costs to help cover what insurance won’t.

I know many of us wish there was something more we could do to help - to give back to our Shining Star, Mistie, who inspires each of us daily with her courage and strength - and this is a solid way to do that.
