Hi, my name is Lynn. I live in Enderby, British Columbia, on Mabel Lake Road. This little valley is a very special place, and many of the people that live here have become my family. Family is everything to me. On September 1, 2024, we lost a family member; Mitchell Fisher.
Mitch called me the day before he left this earth; he was SOOOO excited that he had held his one week old daughter in his arms for the first time!!! He was a good father and he loved both of his daughters with all of his heart. He provided for his girls (and Taia) to the best of his ability. That day he sent me a song that he said, had a huge impact on him... I knew Mitch was kind and caring, but this was a slightly different side of him; the maturity of a man who has loved deeply, and the sadness of a man searching for something. The song was Ho'oponopono by the Emmitt Sisters. Ho'oponopono is a traditional Hawaiian practice of reconciliation and forgiveness. This song speaks to the depth of his love for his family, for Taia, and his beautiful babies, Zayla and Aleena.
I know that Mitch would want us to rally together for his daughters, the most important part of his young life. If you can please help in any way, it would be very much appreciated. Zayla and Aleena only received their father's love for a short period of time, but maybe we can keep his legacy alive, so that they know their father loved them both, with his entire being.
Surrender to this moment
There is no one to blame
There is no right or wrong here
Only lessons in love and pain.
I'm sorry. I forgive you. Thank you. I love you.
