Mitchell “Sage”Barr-beloved son and brother

Hello my name is Anali Barr I am raising money on behalf on my family to help with funeral expenses for my kind, funny, spirited and hard work step son Mitchell “Sage” Barr.

Mitchell was taken from us in a car crash on New Year’s Eve weekend by a driver driving under the influence.

Mitchell is the oldest of three siblings, playing protector to his little sister Grace for a majority of their youth. Even thought Max came later Mitchell would make active efforts to be apart of Max’s life when he was able. Even taking him to the woods to shoot air-soft and use swords to chop fruit like samurai’s in training.

Mitchell was one of the hardest young men I have ever met. Never afraid to get dirty for a job or to make money. Never too humble to earn his way if available.

Mitchell’s life was not without its demons and struggles but he always tried to turn it around. Mitchell was working hard to better his life and create new lasting connections with family and friends. He is with his mother now at peace.

His father and I do not have a lot of money and the cost of simply giving your loved one a proper burial is expensive. Mitchell for all his hard work did not have life insurance nor did any of us think he would pass at such a young age.

So that’s the honest truth, we believe Mitchell deserves to have a proper service and placed with his mother. Mitchell touched so many people we would like to properly say our goodbyes.
