Special Friends Mitchelstown is a local charity that is very close to a number of players. It is a charity set up by local parents of kids with special needs to provide a better quality of life and inclusion within the local community.

It was obvious to the players in the Mitchelstown GAA Club that Special Friends have lost a number of fundraiser avenues this year due to Covid-19 and would like to do something to support this very worthy cause in a time of real need for them.

This 110km will be run on a relay basis (obviously within the 5km radius) over the weekend of 9/10th of May.
