Mizrahi Solidarity Fund
Donation protected
We are raising funds to support the Mizrahi community, particularly in Israel/Palestine, that continues to face oppression through:
- Police brutality and state violence
- Violence against women, queers and trans folks
- Lack of access to housing, food security, and public goods
- Institutional racism
Our funds will go to continual support of Mizrahi community members facing systemic racism. This fund will be ongoing, serving as a support system to care for continued attacks on our community.
We are particularly asking Ashkenazi allies to contribute to our fund in solidarity with our struggle.
If you'd like to learn more about the Mizrahi struggle, its relationship to the Palestinian struggle, and its historically difficult relationship with the activist Left, here is a recent article by Reuven Abergel, one of the founders of the Black Panther Party in Israel.
Organized by Hadar Cohen, a Mizrahi Activist in the US in collaboration with Sivan Tahel, a long time Mizrahi activist in Israel/Palestine.
Thank you for your support!
