GET MAUREEN NIGRO A KIDNEY FUND!

15 months ago my mother was at home and noticed her feet swelled up so she went to the hospital after going to hospital and numerous tests, we were informed her one KIDNEY has failed and the other only works 25%. only making 20,000 a year for last 7 years, she feared the worst..and the worst has come true. Since her KIDNEY failed she had to go on disability so she cannot work. Disability only cover 60% of the bills per month ...we have held 2 fundraisers which went very well but nothing ever enough! The money has dwindled down to almost nothing lately and there are limited funds available. To add to the devastation, the April after she was diagnosed with KIDNEY disease, during the tests they found cervical cancer and thus she had to have surgery to remove it..since she had cancer the KIDNEY donor program delays a donation for 5 years from being cancer free. The stress had built up and has just been crushing her everyday...to go along with all this she has had 9 surgeries in 13 month span! This woman is STRONG and I need her to survive. This is my mother she has been healthy since I could remember dieting and working out, quit smoking 20 years ago, only drinks alcohol once in a while and never to get drunk, she has never done drugs. So the reality of all of this is very hard to ggrasp for all of our family.
