M.J.'s Final Resting Place

 

 

Michael Jones "M.J." Orton passed away peacefully in his sleep on December 15th, 2021 after an aggressive battle with Interstitial Lung Disease. In lieu of a funeral or memorial service, his final wishes were for his daughters to scatter his ashes in the Pacific Ocean. Having lived near the ocean for many years, Michael was an accomplished scuba diving instructor and served proudly in the U.S. Coast Guard. The sea was his passion. The goal of this fundraiser is to help the family honor his wishes and to return him to the sea as he was unable to provide the means to do so. Michael was loved by many and will be forever missed.
