From Houses to Homes is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to provide sustainable housing, healthcare, and education to Guatemalan families. Run by Guatemalans for Guatemalans, this organization has built over 1500 homes, given medical care to over 30,000 patients, and educates 175 children a year for free. COVID-19 has deeply affected the Guatemalan people and this organization by worsening already unstable financial situations for many families. FHTH is working to provide groceries, masks, and financial resources to families who need it most. They continue to raise money for regular education, healthcare and housing services as well.
I am participating in a virtual fundraising internship for the organization as they now need funding more than ever. Any donation, even small, can make a lasting impact during this unprecedented time.
