KimMarie's Breast Cancer Journey
Donation protected
Hello friends,
The past year of my life has been full of changes.
In July I bought a house on my own, which I never thought I would be able to do & had to finally say goodbye to my rusty old subaru which needed $8,000 in repairs. I got a really good deal on a used car & it's so nice to drive a reliable car. I feel so that God made this possible.
On Thursday, January 22nd, the contracting company I was employed with lost the contract with the company I had been working with for the last 3 years. Our entire department was let go halfway through the day that day.
A week later, on Thursday, January 29th. I was diagnosed with breast cancer. Alot of my time lately has been spent at the University of Mn undergoing various tests as I prepare for surgery & chemotherapy.
This is going to be a very hard, year long journey but I am full of hope & my faith is very strong. I know I will beat this cancer, there is no doubt in my mind. I will take this experience & use it to help others who experience hearing those startling words.... you have cancer....
It's very hard to have to ask for help because I am used to being the person that helps other people. I am in a situation now where I have to ask for help to cover medical payments & so I don't lose my house & car.
This has been my only worry since I lost my job & was diagnosed with cancer. I know God will provide & he will cure the cancer but I need to be open & humble enough to do the footwork & ask for help with my finances.
Thank you for any help you can give & any prayers. I appreciate either funding or prayers. I love each & every one of you & your support means the world to me.

The contact for this funding page is my dear friend Keri Wold. Her phone number is [phone redacted] & her email is [email redacted] for any questions or if you need my address as I may not be up to answering emails or talking much once chemo starts.
