Hello Friends,

My wife, Carla, has been bravely fighting cancer the last 12 years. She was diagnosed with parathyroid carcinoma—a very rare illness. Only 300 people are diagnosed with this in the United States each year. Her condition has affected her mobility and her ability to climb stairs. 

We’d like to raise $2,600 to help pay for the rental and set up cost for Carla’s new LiftKar, a special chair that climbs stairs. This chair will lift her safely upstairs to the 2nd floor of our condo. Safe access to both floors at home is essential for Carla’s quality of life.
