Support Paula's Recovery

Donation protected
Paula is one of our finest interpreters, who was "raised" by the Deaf community in San Diego. She moved to LA county, and worked as a college interpreting for many years at CSUN. For the last 10 years she has been working in Mississippi and other southern states, doing educational, community, and VRS interpreting, and facilitating Interpreting workshops all over the US.

In October Paula admitted herself to the ER with a paralyzed leg, and through subsequent tests, found that she had been having a series of small strokes, affecting only her left leg, and that the strokes were caused by blood clots from several small heart attacks!

Paula is working on regaining the mobility of her leg, but has a ways to go before she's able to drive, which means she has no way to work! On top of this serious round of issues, she's been struggling with fibromyalgia, which runs in her family.

She is so deserving of some relief from worrying about how to pay her bills until her leg is rehabilitated so she can drive and work again.

As her friend who loves her, cares about and is worried for her, I am asking you to contribute what you can to help her while she rehabilitates. Thanks for Supporting Paula!
