Interlochen for Noelle

Southport's Noelle Timberlake has been accepted into this summer’s musical theatre session at Interlochen Arts Camp, the world's premier summer arts program for aspiring artists. The Michigan camp considers thousands of applicants from more than 50 countries each year. Noelle was accepted based on video auditions that included excerpts from a musical theatre repertoire, a discussion of her interest in musical theatre followed by a monologue, and a video sample of dance.

As you can imagine the tuition for this program is significant. Interlochen did award Noelle a merit scholarship, however it will still leave a gap of $6,000 in tuition cost plus travel and uniform expenses. Noelle has devoted so much of her life to her love of performing and has shared this love with our community via Y-Arts, summer shows at the Playhouse and roles at Heartwood Regional Theatre. This experience will greatly enhance Noelle’s college applications, as she hopes to study musical theatre. Our entire family would be so grateful for any help!
