Mkuyu Guide School student accommodation
Donation protected
Mkuyu Guide School needs some new student accommodation. The old tents are ragged and full of holes (snakes getting in), and the grass roofs are falling apart and won't survive another wet season (starting in December).
We want to build some new bandas made of bricks and corrugated iron (like the classroom we built last year - see below) and supply new tents. After a generous donation, work is already underway on two bandas. Can you help us add another? £2,500 pays for one new banda that can sleep up to four students.
Mkuyu Guide School in Tungamalenga village, just outside Ruaha National Park, trains young people from southern Tanzania for a career in the safari industry.
Kusini Safaris supports the Kusini Fund, which contributes to community and conservation projects in southern Tanzania. Find out more here
