Michael's NonHodgkins Battle

Last year our brother  Michael married  his High School sweethart Louise. They have two kids, Jack 7 and Abby 4.  On NYE just past Michael got the results of a biopsy from a lump he found in his neck before Christmas. The results came back positive for cancer. He has since had further testing and he has been diagnosed with a rare sub type of Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. While NHL is the 6th most common form of cancer, this sub type only affects 3% of cases. As such MIchael faces a minimun of six months treatment and will not be able to work.

While Louise works in Childcare they are facing huge financial pressure as from her wage alone they will have to cover things like rent, groceries, OOSH fees, childcare fees and all the other things that go along with raising a family. 

On top of everything else their 1994 Honda civic is on its last legs, currently in the mechanics after having broken down for the second time in as many weeks meaning that they are currently without a vehicle making getting Michael to appointments, kids to school and daycare and Louise to work very difficult.

We are hoping to raise some funds to help them get through this very frightening and stressful time and make life just a little bit easier.
