MLK Elementary Flooding Fund

Many public school teachers at Martin Luther King Jr. Elementary School in Rio Rancho suffered personal losses because of severe flooding. As you may know, teachers spend an average of $479 per year on their classrooms. The materials they purchase are owned by them personally, and are not covered in any fashion by school insurance. Additionally, teachers are not allowed to raise money for themselves. So, we at Rio Rancho Schools Employee Union are raising money for the MLK Parent-Teacher-Student Association.  These teachers will then request funds from the PTSA treasurer, Christi Erben, for personal materials they have lost. 100% OF YOUR DONATION WILL GO TO A TEACHER AT MLK. RRSEU will not keep one penny of this money.
