Medical and Household Bills

I'm Erika or Vivienne depending on how you know John and myself and I am John's partner. John often known as Sir Johan in the SCA is a very active fighter and member of the SCA community on both fighting fields and in many SCAdian homes as he is an LMT by trade. Wednesday night on the way to an appointment John was involved in a car accident. His car is still waiting on information from the insurance, but will likely be totaled. John voluntarily went to the Emergency Room on Thursday morning, which if you know him at all tells you everything. Minimum prognosis is that he is out of work for at least a week, possibly more pending a referral to a spine specialist. He is primary breadwinner for our little family as I am a Stay at Home Mom and I care for our 3 children and his disabled veteran father. It's almost Christmas, it's property tax time, he needs a new work car...so it's not looking super great right now and will take a bit for any insurance or medical stuff to come through. Any help for the man who is constantly helping everyone else would be greatly appreciated, if you can't help please share. He's too proud to ask for himself.
