MMIP families

This fundraiser was created to support and honor those that shared their stories in the Showtime series Murder in Big Horn. Each of these families graciously invited our team into their homes and opened up about the injustice their loved ones and families have experienced. We are producers for the series and MMIP survivor family members who have been raising awareness for the movement for the last 7 years. With previous projects we have been a part of we have always tried to help and support the families beyond our work of sharing their stories. We have helped families with deposits for new housing, traveling to testify at the Montana state capitol on MMIW bills, Christmas presents and dinner, and even searches for their loved ones. It’s essential to understand with this work that centering families and survivors can create change. We have always tried to center families in our work and have sought different ways to support them. Often, families are left to find their own justice and support and need funding and support to help them in that journey. We have heard from the families that appeared in the series that monetary support could help them in the various ways they are seeking justice. 100% of the money raised from this fundraiser will go to all the families that appeared in the series.
