(MMIWG) Justice for Amanda and Ezra Davis

Donation protected
Content Warning: Violence against  Indigenous Women (MMIW)

On the early morning of December 15th,  Amanda Davis, 37, and her unborn baby, Ezra Aaron Davis, were violently taken from this world by the father of her unborn child.

Kooyooe Panunadu (Pyramid Lake, Nevada) is the home of the Kooyooe Tukadu (the Cui-ui Eaters of the Northern Paiutes). This is also the home where Amanda Davis was preparing to give birth in February 2021. Amanda was a devoted mother and fought tirelessly to protect them. She leaves behind three children, Dejalyne, Azahni, and E'Alianna.

While forms of domestic violence are widespread throughout our society, Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG) is an issue specific to native communities since colonization. Violence is no one's tradition. Please help to support the family during this time of tragedy that has impacted our relatives in the Northern Paiute community of the Pyramid Lake Paiute Reservation.

We hope you’ll consider making a donation or sharing on your networks to support Amanda’s family during this time of tragedy. All funds will be electronically transferred to the Sanders and Davis families (Amanda's maternal and paternal families) to care for her three children. These funds will be used according to the families' discretion to pay for any unforeseen expenses and provide long-term support services for her three surviving children, who witnessed this traumatic event.

This GoFundMe page was created to benefit Amanda Davis' children and immediate family members. This fundraiser is facilitated by myself, Autumn Harry, a member of the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe and cousin to the late Amanda and Ezra Davis.

Pesu mu. Thank you all.
