Matt & Micah Album

We long to create an atmosphere of reverence, worship, hope and artistry in our music as we step out to do our first full-length album together, and now that we are husband and wife it's a new level of creativity and expression, of intimacy, faith and love.  

We have put off recording as we have been tending to our marriage and family, but decided that 2018 would be the year that we step out with our efforts and capture some of the songs we have been singing together both in our church setting as well as in our home(s) for the last couple of years. These songs speak of our journeys with God, of redemption and beauty. Songs such as "Let Love be the Anchor", "Be Faithful My Heart", and "Stormy Soul" are honest prayers. There's reflection as well as faith declarations. We pray that these lyrics give words for your journey too. 

We have a wonderful producer and we will be traveling to Charlottesville, Virginia, on March 1st to record. We would love to include you in on the process and are hoping to raise $5k here on gofundme to cover the costs of mixing, mastering, CD duplication, artwork, and travel costs. The rest of the album expenses have been amazingly covered by two very generous donors. We are so grateful to be able to do what we love and to be faithful with the songs that have been given over these years of living out the seasons with the Lord, with each other, and with our community.
