Forever in our hearts Aida Pasilong

As you all know, the greatest love one can receive, is the love from a mother.  And god blessed my family when he chose Aida to be ours. She's our queen. And on the evening of October 26, 2015, God called her name and she's now receiving her wings to become our Guardian Angel.

As I write this with a heavy heart, I will share with you, my proudest and most precious, personal moments, and share a piece of how great she was. And if you knew her, then she's already touched your heart in some type of way.

As far back as I can remember, my mother has always been by my side.  I can remember as far back as my kindergarten days, my mom used to get up everyday, and take me and my sister to school, I got lucky because as other parents would leave, my mother would stay because she was one of the teachers assistants. She was always by my side, making sure I understood the learning activities, making sure I drank all my juice, and making sure I wouldnt keep falling off the jungle gym. I was a handful.

Growing up, I felt responsible for my mother's gray hairs, always having bumps and bruises and gashes on my knees and elbows. I was a little daredevil and I'm sure it drove her crazy. But everytime I was hurt, my mother was there, wiping my tears, and cleaning my wounds. Then she'd always kiss me and said, "I love you, be careful next time." And she'd send me on my way to go play again.

My mother was a great cook, and I mean great. There is not one Filipino restaurant out there that can compare to my moms cooking. She had such an amazing gift. She catered food in her spare time to make extra money for the family. And when we had family parties, they were a hit, mainly because of the food. Everyone would leave well fed and with happy tummies. But while you were there, you were entertained! She greeted everyone with love, occasionally take a break from hosting to sing a song or two along with my dad who always played the guitar. They're the perfect duo. She made everyone smile and made everyone feel welcome.

I could go on and on with these stories, the memories will be with me forever, and I'm more than willing to share.

Aida, was an amazing wife, mother, and friend. She had so much love to give and she devoted her life to helping others. If you needed help, she would always find a way to help one way or another. She cared so much for my father, my sisters, myself and the entire family. Even during our last clear conversation with her, she cared more about our well being, rather than herself.

It's unfortunate, and heartbreaking to lose such an amazing woman. God sure has a good with him right now. :'(

Now, as my family prepares to lay her to rest. We're asking for your prayers for strength to help get through this. And we are forever grateful for those who have already reached out and helped us in the time of need. Thank you so much.

As you all know, funeral costs can be hard on any family. My family could use some help at the moment. Any donations or whatever help we can receive is sincerely appreciated. And if you can't, prayers are more than welcome.

Thank you all for your time. Much Love.
