Ki’s Surgery Recovery Fund - Help! Love! Support!

Everything counts. I am starting this to fundraise for my loving, amazing sibling, Kisoon (they/them/theirs).

Kisoon is getting a mastectomy on January 12, 2023. This is to remove a large, rapidly growing, suspicious tumor. Doctors are concerned this type of tumor may be a phyllodes tumor, which is a rare tumor that has a higher likelihood of being malignant(cancerous). The tumor will be excised and then be sent to pathology, which will give a much more thorough and accurate picture of what’s happening than the core needle biopsy, which was abnormal.

The donations are to help support them through the surgery and 8 weeks of recovery. They will be physically unable to work, cook, and care for their dog Nighttime. Funding will go toward medical bills and supplies, meals, dog care, rent, and bills.

Further updates will be announced once results are back from pathology.
