Community Love

Dear Dance Community +  Friends,

In the past month, the COVID-19 pandemic has drastically altered our world and what we know of it. Government-mandated shutdowns and social distancing have impacted all of our lives. Specifically, many members of our dance community- teachers, leaders and creatives- have suddenly found themselves displaced from their work, placing immense financial strain on their lives.

Community Love was created with the objective of providing financial relief to dance community leaders in a time of need, bestowing hope and light in a time of uncertainty. The artists and creatives whom this fund seeks to support have been pivotal members in our community, shaping and molding what we know of dance community today through their dedication and artistic leadership. Let's give back to those who have lit the path of creativity for so many of us. 

Every act of support will go a long way towards supporting our artists, whether it’s sharing this fundraiser with your friends and family or donating directly to our relief fund. All proceeds will go directly toward affected individuals, provide them with much-needed relief during this difficult time. 

APPLICANT INFORMATION:
Qualifying applicants must be a distinguished leader, teacher or creative within the California dance community. Applicants are limited to California residents. Applications will be reviewed thoroughly by our application committee with results released in the second week of May. All information shared in the application will remain confidential.

DONATION INFORMATION:
Donations may be made through our Gofundme page. Donations will be accepted up to May 17th, 11:59PM. ** Donation window has been extended through the weekend.
