Mobile Ministries' Outdoor Survival Fund 2023-2024

Tax deductible
Help Mobile Ministries raise funds for boots, blankets, sleeping bags, other winter survival gear, and shelter for those in need. Mobile Ministries is a locally based ministry in the greater New Bedford area, whose mission is to give food, clothes, and dignity to the homeless and those in need, while sharing God's love and concern for them.

Would you please consider making a donation to help us meet our $10,000 matching challenge? Two generous donors have pledged to the fund to be used to double your gift up to the $10,000 match toward the $20,000 goal.

For 100% of your donation to go to Mobile Ministries (without a payment processing fee described below), please:

About Mobile Ministries
Mobile Ministries, Inc., which started out as Mobile Loaves and Fishes in 2009-10, bought out the truck and started its own local 501(c)3 in 2016. Its base is located at St. Paul's United Methodist Church in New Bedford.
The ministry has over 100 dedicated volunteers from over a dozen participating area churches, including a synagogue. These volunteers hit the road 6 days a week- rain, snow, or shine- delivering over 25,000 meals, clothes, shoes, blankets, toiletries, etc. to help the homeless, helpless, and hopeless among us.
We travel into the New Bedford community with a catering truck six times every week: the North End on Tuesday and Friday nights, the South End on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons, and Downtown at the Salvation Army on Monday and Thursday noon, as well as Saturday mornings. We’ve also branched out and just passed the 2 year mark for a new truck run on Wednesday evenings, serving at the Salvation Army in Fall River.
There's a growing need on the streets and, as you can imagine, it takes a lot of time, money and resources to fulfill those needs. The next time you see someone with a 'homeless' sign, consider how YOU would feel if you had no roof over your head, no good clothes to wear, and nothing to eat, especially in the COLD of winter! If you don't know whether to give a homeless person money or not, we suggest that a donation to Mobile Ministries is the safest, most effective and direct way to put that gift into helping the needy and homeless on the street.

Thank you for your consideration to help those in need.
May God Bless you and yours.
