Emily’s electric wheelchair and vertical lift

Emily is going through a rough time health-wise with lots of orthopaedic problems requiring more hospitals, doctors, medications, treatments, radiology and endless tests. Worst of all, she requires more surgeries. She has a genetic connective tissue illness called Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. Right now, she needs additional mobility devices beyond the canes she previously used. She needs a 14" pediatric electric wheelchair and a vertical lift installed to reach her apartment. She is 4’9” with short limbs and can’t safely use adult devices. These mobility aids are to improve her quality of life and return her to some semblance of independence.
