Mobility scooter for a blue in need
Donation protected
It recently came to our attention that bluefin, a long time member of TheEvertonForum and a man who has worked his whole life, paying his taxes in this country recently had to give up work due to chronic bad health and has more recently been affronted by demands of money from his local council.
As a result of his ill health, he struggles to get out of the house unaided and had recently started saving up for a mobility scooter to help him restore some normality & activity to his life. As he has been falling over a lot lately, he's found himself only really able to sit in his home during the day, awaiting his wife's return. Last week bluefin received a letter from his local council demanding £2000 in unpaid council tax, despite him being told previously that he was in receipt of council tax allowance. Threatened with legal action & facing a CCJ, he will now face a far longer wait for his mobility scooter than he first thought.
Knowing how well the Everton community can unite and come together to do amazing things when one of our own is in need, we've decided to set up this page, with bluefin's permission.
Please give anything you can to help us give an early Christmas gift to an Evertonian in need of a helping hand
Thank you
