Providing a Mobility Van for Ron and Sherry Yeater

God has shown His faithfulness to us for over 50 years of ministry. There have been so many times, in so many ways, by so many people that God has provided for us at the exact time that we have had various needs. All PRAISE goes to Him!

Our recent venture started in January when Sherry’s power valet seat in the van quit working. We were told by different sources that it was too old to find replacement parts. Our children called for a “family meeting”. They said that they wanted to start a “go fund me” plan to replace our 2001 Ford van with a handicap conversion van.

Thank you for praying, for helping in the search, for giving, for making our need known, for working behind the scene with the finances, and for encouraging us along the way. It took MANY people, and God knows specifically who you are. May God bless you for the time, gifts, anonymous helps, and for all that you have done. God saw each one of your deeds, and we trust you did them all for Him because you know Him as your personal Savior.

Funds started to accumulate, and we knew it was time to start looking. One inquiry was to a dealer, Bill, who had, a few years ago, helped to find parts for Sherry’s seat. He is from Tampa, and he said that he didn’t have anything available in our price range. We thanked him and continued our search.

A few weeks later Bill called to say that he had a lead for a van! Three years ago he had sold one to a lady in Atlanta. She called him to say that she no longer needed it, and she asked him if he knew of anyone who would be interested in it? Bill said, “Yes!”

The final details were worked out, and Jodi was available to go to Atlanta to bring it back to Lakeland. It is a 2013 Honda, Odyssey, BraunAbility, with 025,000 miles. Yes, that is 25,000 miles!! It cost a little more than we originally planned, but extra funds came in for the difference. The sale of our old van paid for the state taxes and for the transfer. 

We have seen God’s hand in all of this. Give Him praise! It has already been a testimony to those we have worked with in the business dealings.
