Modern day "bad news bears"

I'd like to introduce you to what I smile and call the modern "bad news bears." These are middle school kids from all nationalities because the school is made up of 50% plus immigrants. Yes, communication can be a problem. The name of their school is Freedom Middle. My son Corbin is the coach. Their record for this season is 0-1-16, and yes, when they tied, you would have thought they had won the World Series. Now, the 16 were not all just losses; some were forfeited, several team members were suspended for behaviors, and parents cursed out the umpire. I think you get the picture.

The school does not support baseball; therefore, Corbin has spent the season picking up and dropping off kids to practice and games, counseling them, and somehow even cheering them up after a loss. The bottom line is, he is a school teacher and broke but wants the kids to have something at the end of the year with other sports the school does support. So I'm asking for your help, $1, $2, even $5 will help get these so deserving kids something to remember this baseball season. Thank you.
