Modou Sarr Mbengue

Modou Sarr Mbengue, Modou Tama, brought light and joy to all who had the good fortune to cross paths with him. He was a master of tama, talking drum. His musical abilities were surpassed only by his sense of humor and tremendous heart. He was a devout Muslim and he knew that the world is imperfect and temporary, but that a perfect and eternal life awaits beyond. He will be missed by all who he left behind.

His family is seeking funds to repatriate his remains and lay him to rest in Senegal. It was his wish that he be buried in his homeland. Anything you can donate will be greatly appreciated and will allow us to honor this wish.
