Donation in honour of Mohammed Khalil

Bismillah Ar-Rahman Ar-Raheem بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم ("In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful”)

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un إِنَّا ِلِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ, (Verily, to Allah we belong and verily, to Him we shall return)

Abu Huraira (May Allah be pleased with him) reported Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: When a man dies, his acts come to an end, but three, recurring charity, or knowledge (by which people) benefit, or a pious son who prays for him (for the deceased).

To know Moe is to love Moe.

For those of us blessed enough to have crossed paths with Moe, you would immediately be astonished by his selfless ways. He loved everyone around him authentically and fully. He was a loving son, brother and best friend to many. He will be missed dearly, and we hope to keep his goodwill everlasting by donating in his name.

For those who want to contribute to this donation, we will be donating 100% of everything raised in honor of Mohammed Khalil to multiple charities. The donations will be split amongst an array of charities such as: The Muslim Relief, Calgary Women's Emergency Shelter, Calgary Alpha House Society, Muslim Food Bank and Community Services Society and more god permitting

The most important thing we can do is to make prayer (dua) for the deceased. It is our continual prayer and remembrance for those who have passed that will benefit them.

May Allah (SWT) grant us all soft hearts that motivate us to do consistent acts of sadaqah (donations).
