Help displaced Palestinian Bolbol family survive winter

Hi my name is Annie and my friend Mohammed is seeking help. Mohammed is a father of 3 wonderful children - the twins Sara and Rayan (10 yrs) and our newest addition, Majd, born amidst the challenges of war on February 22, 2024.
The last few months have been a tumultuous journey, marked by forced relocations, scarce resources, and the constant threat of conflict. In the initial days of the war, we had to leave our home due to the perilous conditions in our neighborhood which was subsequently heavily bombed. Seeking refuge, we moved to my sister's house in Gaza City, only to face another wave of displacement to the southern city of Khan Younus. Life there has been incredibly tough, with basic necessities like clean water and food becoming daily challenges.
On January 24, 2024 armed clashes approached the United Nations facility where we sought refuge. With a heavy heart, we left the facility leaving behind most of our belongings and losing invaluable items including our legal documents, family photos and my laptop.
Now we find ourselves in Rafah city, the last area in the south of Gaza where people can flee. Life conditions here are harsh, with more than a million and a half people condensed in a very narrow area of the city. We have limited access to food, almost no access to clean water. We struggle to find basic necessities as inflation has raised prices ten-fold.
With a high chance that clashes will eventually chase us here in Rafah, we believe that evacuation to Egypt is our best chance for a safe and more stable future for our family.
I am worried sick about my family's safety. We have always taught our kids to live a life of peace and love, but now we are trapped amidst this terrifying violence. The bombings are nonstop, nobody knows what is safe anymore, The airstrikes have already claimed the life of one of my friends and his entire family. My wife lost more than 30 of her extended family including her grandmother and two of her aunts in an airstrike that was very close to us. I cannot bear to lose my own family as well.
How You Can Help: after exhausting all other options, I now ask for your help to help my family and me survive this terrible time. Your support, no matter the amout, will give my family a second chance at life.
We have initiated this crowdfunding campaign with the aim of raising funds to facilitate the evacuation of our family from Rafah to Egypt. Your generous support will go towards securing permits and crossing fees to Egypt, transportation, temporary accomodation, and essential needs for our journey to safety.
While there is a glimmer of hope for my family, it is an expensive process. While I am trying to raise $50,000 the prices of permits and crossing fees to Egypt alone costs $5,000 per adult and $2,500 per child.
Your kindness and compassion will make a significant difference in our lives and provide hope for a brighter future.
From the depths of our hearts, we thank you for considering our plea and joining us on this journey to safety.
With gratitude, Mohammed and Family
