Rauf Family Memorial

Our dear friend, Mokaram Rauf, passed away unexpectedly on December 2, 2018. During his short life, Mokaram touched countless individuals with a radiant personality and an innate desire to do good. Many of us were greatly privileged to have our lives intersect with his at various points. 

Mokaram was a man of abundant talents and interests. He received his Medical Degree from Northwestern Feinberg School of Medicine. During his time at Northwestern, he also obtained a Masters of Public Health Degree. As a Fulbright Scholar, he studied primary care delivery models in Cebu City, Philippines. In his brief career, he worked as a healthcare consultant for McKinsey & Company and as a medical director at multiple healthcare startups.

Mokaram leaves behind his parents and younger brother Moazam. After a funeral prayer in Chicago, he will be buried in Pakistan alongside his younger brother Mutahir, who was tragically shot and killed four years ago. 

Funds are being collected to defray some funeral expenses and, most importantly, to provide financial support for Mokaram's family.
