I am SO glad you have found your way here to this SECRET fundraiser for Stephanie Emery and Molly the AdventureBus! While there are hundreds of you that have come along to enjoy our family style travel over the last 20+ years, I haven’t met all of you so thank you to those I have met for reaching out to your fellow AdventureBus friends to let them know what we are doing here!

As some of you may or may not know, after a two-year COVID-19 hiatus, Stephanie and Molly The AdventureBus finally made it back on the road this year (2022) for two Southwest trips, and two Yellowstone/Teton trips. But later in August, as we geared up to enjoy three one week tours of Oregon, the first trip started out with a BANG! …but not the good kind…

Just two hours into our first day, Molly The Adventurebus suffered a catastrophic engine failure as we headed for the Oregon Coast. 

What caused this? This we do not know, and probably will never know for sure. She has traveled many miles of smiles over the past 20 years and perhaps it was just time for a new ticker. What we do know now, after a full assessment, is that she needs a new heart (engine). This is not a small investment by any means, but it needs to and will happen to keep our beloved travel companion going!

Now friends, if you know Stephanie Emery then you know well the labors of love she has put into this company, and the carefully planned experiences, and generosity of affordability she has provided to us over the past 20 years. What you probably also know then is that this kind of fundraiser is nothing she would ever reach out for herself. But if you know me, AND your fellow AB riders, you know we would!

So yes, this was not just my idea…by the end of the three Oregon trips, (which we finished by using a moving truck and a passenger van), it had been suggested by a dozen people in private. I heard over and over…

What can we do for Stephanie?

What can we do for Molly?

What can we do for AdventureBus?! 

Well, here is our chance…

The goal you see noted above will re-power our girl Molly in all the right ways…a brand new rebuilt engine with ALL the fixin’s! (And maybe even some LARGER sleeping bag covers…ha ha! )

So what can you do? First of all, this is a SECRET fundraiser. So please do not share it on your Facebook or Instagram page or anywhere online for that matter where she might see it. This will need to be a grassroots effort.

The best thing to do is for you to go back through your contacts in previous AB years and get a hold of your fellow Adventurebus family to let them know about it by sending the link. (Stephanie generally sends out a ‘Thank You’ at the end of each trip. Many times your co-riders are included in the email.) Reach out to them…say hello…tell them you miss them…and let them know about this fundraiser! Make sure they know I am organizing it so it doesn’t seem like a weird out of the blue email from a Nigerian Prince :)

After two weeks, (or sooner if we make our goal), I will be sending her a link to it as a surprise! (If I can get that on video for you, I definitely will!) On this platform you can donate with your name noted, or you can donate anonymously if you like. Just please remember NOT to share to your FB feed or there's a good chance Steph will discover it prematurely…let's keep that element of surprise! I guess I could go on and on about her love for you guys and the company and how she’s kept it affordable and going strong for almost two decades, but most of you already know it’s always been a labor of love…and ALWAYS about Remembering To Enjoy The JOURNEY❣️
