Molly Surgery after Cougar Attack
Donation protected
If you've ever met Molly, you know how lovable of a pet she is - she brightens everyone's day! Molly was visiting our family in Lebanon, OR and was playing outside. A cougar grabbed her and took her into a tree and my father-in-law was able to run in to grab his rifle, shoot at the cougar, and both the cougar and Molly dropped to the ground. The cougar ran off and he scooped up Molly and rushed her to the vet in Corvallis. After stabilizing her, they recommended taking her to DoveLewis in Portland for advanced imaging and surgery. The vet there confirmed that the injuries were limited to her jaw and eye and recommended surgery. She has lost her left eye and part of her upper left jaw bone/teeth, but as long as she survives potential infection from the bite wounds she should make a full recovery! If you would like to support Molly's surgery and recovery, any donation is gratefully appreciated.
