Thank you for your prayers and concern for Molly. This page was created with permission to support Janelle and Ryan through their time of turbulence.
Molly Maribeth Tittsworth came into this world on Tuesday, March 7, 2017; a beautiful baby girl with her whole life ahead of her. She was greeted by a loving mother, a proud father, and excited big brother to help guide her on life's journey.
While being only one week old, on March 14th, Molly will undergo open heart surgery to reconnect the aorta to allow a smooth flow of blood from the heart to the blood vessels of her body. The procedure will take 3-4 hours and as you can imagine leave her in a precarious condition over the next 24-48 hours. The medical staff is confident in the procedure and although not an everyday occurrence, Molly's condition is one they have routinely fixed successfully.
On Wednesday afternoon (3/8/17) and into the evening, it became apparent that there was something seriously wrong. By 2:30 am Thursday morning (3/9/17) Ryan and Janelle were faced with the decision of which hospital they wanted to transport Molly to in order to get the best medical attention possible and move forward with correcting her issues. They decided on Kansas City and plans were quickly put into motion. Ryan and Janelle are currently setup through the Ronald McDonald House that is within a block of the hospital in Kansas City. They are not sure how long this will be considered their "home away from home" as the road to recovery could take weeks, maybe months with additional surgeries down the road.
The first thing needed are prayers...lots of prayers. Hopefully this will be viewed prior to Molly's procedure and you'll have time to stop and say a few prayers for her and the entire medical team on Tuesday. If after her surgery, please continue to pray for a swift and successful recovery. Pray for Janelle, Ryan, and McCoy as they anxiously wait to bring Molly home.
Ryan and Janelle have amazing support from their families and as I have been trying to keep everyone informed of the news and updates, I've been moved by everyone that has simply said, "Let me know how I can help." So the idea to start a GoFundMe page was a collective thought of several friends trying to strategically combine all efforts to help Molly and the Tittsworth family any way possible. The road that Molly, Janelle, Ryan and McCoy are travelling right now is dark and scary. Not knowing what is in store or even how long until they see more light. Support from their family and friends helps provide the strength to press forward. Anything you can donate will be a blessing and surely go a long way. Even a slight relief of the financial burdens they will endure allows Ryan and Janelle to focus on the only thing they should be focusing on...Miss Molly Maribeth Tittsworth.
Thank you so very much for your support and God Bless.
