Molly’s Fight with Neuroblastoma

Sweet little Molly Lynn entered this world on July 8 of this year to a wonderful family who had anxiously been awaiting her arrival. Parents, Robbie and Chelsea Hughes, and big brother, Jamison (Age 3), were thrilled to add a new member to their family. Little did they know that a few short months later, their perfect family of four would receive devastating news that would forever change their lives.

On November 24, Molly got sent to the ER after having a swollen and hard tummy. Her parents stayed hopeful that it was just something minor. Doctors suspected a bowel blockage and recommended a cat scan to diagnose the issue. Results of the scan were much worse than anyone anticipated. Molly has a large tumor on her kidney and liver and has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma. Doctors are currently working on a treatment plan for sweet Molly in hopes that she can overcome this prognosis.

Molly is surrounded by lots of loving friends and family during this long journey. She will be receiving treatment in Nashville, as this is where she can receive the best medical care for her condition. Parents, Robbie and Chelsea, will be spending their days and nights by Molly’s side during this battle. They need donations to go towards travel money, insurance deductibles, food, medical bills, and loss of income. Any amount that you can give would be a big help for this young family.

Molly’s family knows that God is bigger than all of this. They are hopeful and have remained incredibly strong in their faith as the doctors have conveyed that their worst nightmare is their new reality.
