Mollys sticky situation

We have a heartwarming story to share with you about the resilience of our beloved greyhound, Molly, and the incredible journey she's embarked upon.

Molly is not just any ordinary dog; she's the light of Jess's life, her constant companion, and source of boundless joy. Together, they've shared countless memories and moments filled with laughter.

One fateful Wednesday evening, as Molly was doing zooomies in the back yard she ran into a dead branch on the side of the tree, a terrible accident occurred. The stick impaled her chest, puncturing her lung and plunging 14 cm deep inside her. It was a horrifying moment that could have turned tragic.

Without hesitation, Molly was rushed to the emergency vet, where her life hung in the balance. She was losing a tremendous amount of blood, and her lungs were filled with blood, too. The vet surgeons worked tirelessly, around the clock, to save her precious life. It was a battle, but they fought valiantly.

After 4-5 agonizing days in the ICU, Molly started showing signs of recovery. The surgeons had to perform a complex surgery, cutting through her sternum to reach the injuries.

The total cost of this life-saving surgery, including intensive care, medications, and follow-up treatments, has left Jess with a substantial financial burden of

$19,811.91

Molly is now on the path to recovery, but this is just the beginning of her journey. The ongoing vet bills are mounting, and Jess, who is still pursuing her education, is facing a financial challenge she never expected.
