Mom and dad spend remaining days with Jude

Jude our 20 month old has been battling Acute myeloid leukemia since September 16th, 2021. He’s the youngest of 6 siblings and going to be a big brother in November. Jude went through treatments and went in remission in November. So his older brother done a bone marrow transplant with him. Things were fine until mid April when we found a tumor starting to form on his inner thigh. That tumor has constantly grown since it was found. The leukemia has been so much more aggressive since relapse. He went through a CAR-T trial but the leukemia is so aggressive that it didn’t give the trial a chance. We were informed today that Jude’s leukemia has pretty well taken over. We are no longer trying to cure the leukemia. We are only trying to keep him as comfortable as possible for his remaining days which doesn’t seem to be more than a few weeks to a couple months. Neither mom or I are going to be working during this time we are going to be focusing only on spending his remaining days with him. Making the most of every smile and giggle. Jude has fought hard continuously for 10 months his body is just not strong enough to keep up the fight much longer.
