Mom & Daughter Hit By A Drunk Driver
Donation protected
Last night about 9:00 p.m., a drive home from the trampoline park turned into a life threatening situation.
Larimer County Sheriff’s Office were in pursuit of a drunk driver in town, and after some time, gave up the chase. Unfortunately, she chose to continue until smashing into the passenger side vehicle of Jasmine, 32, and Armoni, age 11.
Jasmine suffered 3 broken ribs, a punctured lung, and a split eyelid. After using the jaws of life to remove her from the vehicle, Armoni was found to have a broken rib, punctured lung, broken wrists, broken pelvis, lacerated tendon in her hand, lacerated liver, bruised pancreas and heart, and a brain bleed.
Both mother and daughter were rushed to MCR. After some scans and tests, Armoni was taken to Children’s Hospital and remains there. Her prognosis and medical procedure needs are still pending.
Although Jasmine has health insurance, she was in the process of looking for coverage for Armoni. It is not known whether the drunken driver carried insurance on her vehicle. She attempted to flee the scene after the wreck.
There are lots of unknowns in this devastating situation. All we do know for sure is that there will be a long time loss of ability to work for Jasmine, medical expenses for both her and Armoni, personal and food expenses, and rent and bills that still need to be paid.
Armoni is an avid and talented gymnast, we need her healed and back on the mat. Her brother Dylan is worried about his sister and wants her safe and back home. Jasmine and her boyfriend Daniel are both hardworking and loving parents who deserve any help we can offer.
As they try and heal from this trauma let’s please pray and support them financially in any way we can.
