Mom in need of equipment to help symptoms of ALS

Hi, my name is Andrea. Im fundraising for my mom Paula. She has recently been diagnosed with ALS. ALS causes motor neurons to degenerate over time until they eventually die. When those neurons die, the brain can no longer tell the muscles what to do which can effect how people swallow and breathe. My mom's symptoms of this awful disease began suddenly and are progressing quickly. The neurologist and pulmonologist has recommended that my mom buy 2 machines, AVAPS machine and cough assist machine, that will help her with her breathing and coughing. These two machine are well over $5000 to buy. I would normally never ask for donations, but she needs these two machines ASAP! I understand if you can not donate, but I would like to ask that anyone who sees this post, please say a prayer for my mom. She is such a good mother, grandmother, and all around woman! She has always been willing to help anyone in a time of need. She would be so mad to know that I am asking for help but this may be life or death for my mom. I love my mom so much and I would like to have as much time as possible with my mom!
