Mom of 2 small children with brain tumor

I’m setting up a go fund me for a friend in need!!! Please respect her and her families privacy until they are ready to talk more about what’s going on.

Carmen has been diagnosed with an anapestic Ependymoma tumor. She is currently being treated at the Sutter Davis Cancer Institute and at the Sonora Cancer Pavilion. She has an amazing team of neurosurgeons and an oncologist who she absolutely loves! She is going to every appointment and doing the steps to get as healthy as possible to support her recovery. Her tumor has affected lots of parts of her life but it will not take over her character and well being or be the sole proprietor in her life. On Monday she will be starting radiation treatment. She has been trying to deal with this as quietly as possible as to not get bombarded with questions or pressured to do anything she doesn’t want to do. It’s time to ask for help!! She has had to stop working and still has bills to pay! Her husband has had to take time off of work as well to support her health and well being and take care of the 2 littles they have (3/1). She will in the near future be getting chemotherapy and will be part of clinical trials because of the rarity of her tumor. Please do what you can to support a mom in need! Do it for her babies, if nothing else
