3yr old hit & killed by a drunk driver

Hi, my name is Shannel Stallworth, an in-law to the family & I am fundraising for Kanisha Nash, and her three-year-old son Grayson Nash. On Friday, April 14 Kanisha and Grayson were traveling from Spartanburg, SC down to Charleston SC to attend her niece's birthday party. Due to arrive no later than 9:30 PM when called Kanisha said she needed to make a stop to get Grayson some pull-ups. Family directed her to the nearest Walmart and waited for her arrival. One hour passed and Kanisha never arrived, so the family begin calling to check on her and got no answer. A second hour passed and still no signs of Kanisha, nor was she answering the phone. After 2 1/2 hours the family decided to get in the car and go looking for her, while the others stayed at home and called all the local hospitals. After no luck searching for her, and no Jane Doe's at the hospitals they called, the family then proceeded to call the local police departments at which time they were advised that there had been a horrific accident with victims matching the descriptions of Kanisha & Grayson.
Just 7 mins away from their destination, a drunk driver hit them in a head-on collision. With severe damages Kanisha was rushed to a local hospital. Grayson who was in critical condition was air lifted to MUSC Shawn Jenkin's Children's Hospital about 45 mins away from his mother.
Kanisha has suffered 2 broken legs, her right femur and left tibia & fibula, trauma and glass to her neck region, and as of yesterday. her CT scan showed signs of a pulmonary embolism, which can be deadly.
Baby Grayson who just turned 3 yesterday, April 17th, is currently in the ICU still in critical condition. He suffered severe damage to his head and abdomen, causing an insurmountable amount of bleeding. He received immediate surgery to remove parts of his skull and insert a bulb to release the pressure off his brain and hopefully decrease his blood loss. He has received multiple blood transfusions as he lost all of his natural blood supply. He has had 7 surgeries so far, including an unfortunate but life-saving surgery, removing the right side of his liver. For the first 3 days, charts showed no brain activity, but by the grace of God, yesterday a few small spurts appeared so not all hope is lost. Grayson has a very hard, long, & challenging road ahead of him for recovery, but we haven't given up faith. Kanisha too may need additional surgeries, in addition to many hours of physical therapy to learn how to walk again.
Kanisha is a single mom of 4 boys. All funds donated will be used to help cover the medical cost for the care & recovery of Kanisha & Grayson. Any donation will be helpful and greatly appreciated.
